Last year I was following the ASP Tour for a few stops working on the TV Show "Surf Chronicles" for Red Bull. I was always working together with good friends and this made the whole experience just great! I was mainly filming and when needed I helped out in Post Production as well. Here I've put together a little clip with some of my shots but you can watch the full episodes on redbull.tv/Surf-Chronicles.

It happened that on my first stop Mr. Slater won his 10th worldtitle in Puerto Rico and roughly a year afterwards he won his 11th in San Francisco. So there's some classic Slater action in this clip!

The last few days the Red Bull Shr3d took place in Kaprun, Austria. The concept was simple, it was all about the number "3". Three days, three teams, three terrains, three movies and one winner at the end. Red Bull was asking my buddy Martin "Buffi" Riess and me for doing a making-of of the whole event. All I can say is that we had a blast! Lots of great people involved!

I had the pleasure to surf into 2012 with loads of fun in Portugal. Two weeks with friends, good food, nice waves & lots of sunshine! A few days before leaving I got a new little camera, a Olympus MJU Zoom 80 Wide. With a little bit of luck and patience you can find those little analogue point & shoot cameras for really cheap on eBay. This is my second Olympus from the MJU series and I'm really happy with it. This one plus the MJU II as the fast (f2.8) option and you are steeled for almost everything when travelling. I really do enjoy shooting film again and love the organic feel. After postprocessing to much digital photos I got a little bit tired of it. So thats why I actually started to shoot more and more film again. Shooting on film helps to stay in "the now", which allows you to remain dedicated to the moment instead of studying an LCD screen of the last shot. I think next time I even going to shoot a few rolls with one of my older SLRs. I love the fact that you never know exactly what you will get...

This November I had a blast in San Francisco! I was there for the Ripcurl Search event to cover it for our show. All shot with a Olympus mjuII (they call it "Stylus Epic" in the US) on some Konica VX100 and some no-name Walgreens film. Love the organic quality of film (even of the cheapest one). Check out the whole set on myFlickr!

I did edit a short little recap-clip of some last season shredding at home in Austria.
