Dirty Deeds - Stupid People

I haven't watched lots of animation lately... today I stumbled upon this one. Woha, this is brilliant!

Back again...

Alright, back in Austria since two days. Feels like I was not really on a trip for two months. Same same here. Though there are some new things I'll blog about soon... It's good to see family and friends again, but I miss the ocean already. Luke and me had a really good time in Indonesia. We were productive as well and a little tripmovie is coming sometime in the next few months. I have a really good feeling about it :) Can't wait to start working on it.
But before I'll start on this one I have to process and upload some more pictures from our Morocco trip in March this year - there are some sick ones missing...
Can't wait for the next trip! :P
There are already some sweet destinations in my mind...

My fellows from Bubbles&Bones were productive as hell too. Andy & Tom are rocking London supergood. I have to visit them soon. Check out Andys latest shirt and buy one here! I saw some updates on our website and blog too. Nice!!!
Andy, a multitalent he is, stated a nice blog about his surfboard shaping passion. As green as possible!!! Check all the good stuff out here!

Last but not least I spotted this one, can't believe it ;) Yeah Larry - keep this running and have a good time in Indonesia the next four weeks! Pull in!!! :)

Pete McDonald

I just read on Phibs blog that Pete left Buck NY lately... I wish you all the best back in New Zealand man! Check out his amazing portfolio! So much talent there!!!
Although I was working for a very short time at Buck NY sometimes it feels like it was yesterday. I'm sure that's because of the nice people there. You are part of the family as of day one! Very good times... :)

Pete rockin.

Update!!! Bubbles & Bones is online!!!

Lots of stuff happened lately so there was not really time to update this blog. I'm hanging in Saalbach/Hinterglemm right now (again). Work and shred at its best! :)
We finally did it. Our Creative Collective aka. Bubbles & Bones is online now!!! Check out our brandnew website: www.bubblesbones.com and let me know what you think!
We are five motivated individuals who are sick of doing unsatisfied jobs and decided to do our own thing. Following our passion and dreams!
We also set up a blog blog.bubblesbones.com. Be sure to subscribe to the RSS feed.
A few days ago we went to ISPO in Munich and had a great time. Met lots of nice people and made some new friends. We also got some really interesting connections... (more on this soon).
In addition to that I booked a flight to Morocco and gonna stay there for more than a month in March! Can't wait for that! I already know that this trip is going to be awesome!!!
Surf and work - a dream! :) I'll keep you guys posted!!!

Kromotion got a facelift

The bilingual french-english mograph blog Kromotion finally got relaunched.
Looks promising! Their free pdf magazine Kromag was always one of my favorites.

So after an awesome week in Lisbon/Portugal i´m back in Austria. We had a good time, met a lot of cool people, party a lot and even caught some waves :) Good times!!!
I just uploaded a set on flickr. Go for it!

There were some really good presentations from Digital Kitchen, Stefan Sagmeister, PES and Prologue. Good insight and motivating stuff!

Cirque Belgique

Joris Willems posted the "Cirque Belgique"-Teaser today on facebook. It´s a belgium monthly snow-, skate- & surf-TV-programm. Looks very promising. Props to the camera guys and Joris of course! Joris is a multitalented designer living in Belgium. Check out his website for more of his awesome work!

1970s At the Newsstand

My girl Julia loves almost everything about the 1970s. She bought this book recently and I was skimming through it yesterday. The Lui Covers catched my eye immediately. I like those three a lot but check out this huge online collection.

Lubalin

One part of my graduation a month back was the subject Lubalin. Herb Lubalin was one of the most influent Typographer & Graphic Designer of the 20th century. By doing some research I stumbled over this great collection of his work. Check out some of his Avantgarde and Fact: covers and much more...

Phil updates

...with new work and site. Nice buddie!

on xplsv

Today my reel is featured on the header of xplsv.tv and if you are a subscriber of their vodcast you will automatically receive it. Nice :)

Besides that I just finished the post work for a few hundred Morocco photographs and will upload them on myFlickr soon.

Ian Kim

When I was working in LA I had the pleasure to get to know Ian. I can say that he is the most talented drawing artist I ever met. His work is amazing. There is a lot of new work on his website. Recently he was featured on motionographer and I thought I have to give my friend a shout out too :)

Thanks for picking me up almost every weekend to get to the ocean! With that said I also have to mention Kris Wong. A very talented guy who interned at BUCK at the same time I did. He is originally from Hawaii and an awesome surfer! I really hope you guys are doing well over there and we´ll see us again in the lineup some day...
